Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of ParallelSandbox (the "Service"), operated by Runvo LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, creating an API key or connecting an agent to the Service you agree to be bound by them.

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. The Service

The Service provides boxes: remote virtual machines that software agents under your control operate through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and a REST API, together with a browser log service, a web app and a desktop app. The Service contains no artificial intelligence of its own. Everything a box does is instructed by you, or by agents acting with your API key.

The Service is intended for software development and testing by businesses and individual developers. You must be able to enter into a binding contract to use it.

2. Accounts and API keys

You sign in with a GitHub account. API keys are shown once when created and are stored by us only as hashes. Anything done with your API key, by you or by any agent or person you gave it to, is your responsibility. Keep keys confidential, do not commit them to repositories, and revoke a key immediately if you suspect it has been exposed.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service, or allow an agent to use it, to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • attack, scan, flood or otherwise interfere with systems you do not own or have no permission to test;
  • mine cryptocurrency or run other proof-of-work computation;
  • attempt to break out of a box, reach other tenants' boxes or the platform's own infrastructure, or obtain cloud credentials;
  • send spam or unsolicited traffic from a box;
  • resell access to the Service without our written agreement.

When you connect third-party services from a box (GitHub, cloud providers, APIs), their terms apply to that use. We may stop boxes, remove stored files and logs, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and we may do so without prior notice where necessary to protect the Service or others.

4. Your code, data and secrets

4.1 Ownership

You keep all rights to the code you run, the files, screenshots and recordings a box produces, and the logs you send. You grant us the right to store, copy and transmit them only as needed to provide the Service to you.

4.2 Boxes are ephemeral

Everything on a box is destroyed when the box stops, is interrupted or is terminated. Only what you fetched with the tools, and the screenshots, recordings and logs stored on your behalf, remain. Keep your source of truth elsewhere.

4.3 Secrets

Secrets are stored encrypted, injected into a box only when you name them at start, and are never written to platform logs or returned by any tool. You are responsible for the scope and rotation of the credentials you store.

4.4 Inspection

We do not look at the contents of your boxes, files or logs, except as necessary to investigate a suspected violation of these Terms, to respond to a legal requirement, or at your request for support.

5. Credits, plans and payment

Usage is paid with credits. One credit is US$0.001. Every metered usage (box time, outbound traffic, log ingestion and storage, stored files) is charged at our actual cost multiplied by 1.5, at the rates published on the pricing page, which are recomputed monthly.

Credits sit in three buckets: one-time credits granted on sign-up, plan credits that reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over, and purchased credits that never expire. When your balance reaches zero, no new box can be started and running boxes are notified and then stopped.

Subscriptions and credit packs are billed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from the billing portal and keep the plan until the end of the period already paid. Prices exclude taxes that may apply where you are. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice on the pricing page. Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription fees and purchased credits are not refundable.

6. Availability and interruptions

Boxes run on spot capacity that the cloud provider may reclaim with short notice. When that happens the box is marked interrupted, your agent is informed through the tools, and the box is not restored. The Service is provided without an availability guarantee; we may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we will give reasonable notice for changes that remove functionality you rely on.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on GitHub for sign-in, Stripe for payment and Amazon Web Services for hosting. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control, and we are not liable for damage caused by their interruption, modification or termination.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, nor for loss of data, profits or business, whether based on contract, tort or any other theory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app; running boxes are stopped and stored files and logs are deleted within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or if required by law. Sections 4, 5, 8 and 10 survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. The current version is always at parallelsandbox.com/terms/ with the date of the last change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
